A Mother’s Love

We knew my Mom as “Peggy” Margaret Ann Eschenbach, born on January 18, 1925.  It was Mom’s relentless prayers  she would see answered on April 6, 1975. And those prayers did not stop when I gave my life to Jesus. She continued to pray for me and our entire family for the next 45 years.

At the age of 95 on June 21, 2020 my Mom went home to be with our Lord.

As the band – “Mercy Me” sings, “I Can Only Imagine”… is a song that is on my heart today.

I try to capture this great love my Mom had in her heart for our Lord and all of her children in my book. Here is one excerpt from Chapter 6… “Mom was brokenhearted when I began serving my short sentence. But that would not keep her from going to her knees each night in prayer for me.”

Parents and loved ones continue to pray and trust God to carry you through your most difficult times. Just as my Mom did for me and my family.

2 Corinthians 4:17 and Joshua 1:9

Happy Birthday Mom – I Love you, Johnny

Thanks for sharing. My sister was my prayer warrior. Praise God for those that trusted God for us even before we could understand – for when we were yet sinners Christ died for us. I’ll have to share more of my story with you some time. God is Good! All the time!
